What is a science birthday party?
Your child's party, run by us
For the length of the party Explora is closed to other customers and becomes your private lab. A specialist host leads the experiments, the children's snacks are included, and the grown-ups get coffee from our baristas at a party discount.
Host included
A professional leads every experiment, safely and with plenty of fun.
2 or 3 experiments
Real science, adapted to the children's age. They leave wanting more.
Snacks included
For every child invited, in every package, at no extra cost.
Private venue
The whole space is yours for the entire party. No other customers.
Big groups welcome
Packages include 15 children. More of you? We add extra children or put together a package for your group.
10–15% off
On everything the adults order during the party.
What makes us different
The experiments
No magic tricks: the children do the science themselves, guided by the host. Here's the line-up.
Fizzy science
Worms that come alive
A bubbling reaction makes gummy worms “dance” inside the glass. Expect a lot of giggling.
Lab coats on
Little chemists
Professional test tubes, syringes and pipettes. Each child mixes their own solution like a real lab scientist.
Edible · keepsake
Lab cookies
Delicious science: they decorate an edible test tube and take it home to remember the day.
Teamwork
Science mission
All together: they solve a challenge guided by the host. Teamwork, curiosity and loads of fun.
A sample line-up: the host adapts the experiments to the children's ages and can add others on request.
