Terms and conditions

1. Provider and purpose

These terms govern booking and using the services of Explora Family Café, run by Exploratorium Cafe S.L. (tax ID B22858641), Calle del Poeta Joan Maragall 13, Madrid: workshops and activities, birthday parties and private events, and the STEAM play zone. By booking you accept these terms.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in euros. We may update them; the price at the time of booking applies. pending: confirm "VAT included"

3. Workshops and activities

  • Places are booked in the online calendar. Paid workshops are paid when booking via Stripe; you'll receive an email confirmation.
  • STEAM activities are included with the kids' menu at no extra cost.
  • Cancellations and changes: pending: deadline and refund

4. Birthday parties and private events

  • The date is confirmed by paying 30% of the package when booking. The rest is paid on the day of the party.
  • Packages include 15 children; more can be added or a tailored package created for bigger groups.
  • With the Weekday and Weekend packages you may bring your own cake; the Premium package includes one.
  • Allergies and intolerances must be notified when booking.
  • Cancellation and date changes: pending: deposit policy

5. STEAM zone

  • It is for customers only. Unlimited access is included with the kids' menu; under-1s go free.
  • It is not a nursery or drop-off service: children must be supervised by, and remain the responsibility of, an accompanying adult at all times.
  • Recommended ages: 1 to 9.

6. Right of withdrawal

Bookings of leisure services for a specific date may be excluded from the right of withdrawal under article 103(l) of Spain's consumer protection law. pending: adviser review
